Next to I-85 (but "still surprisingly quiet") and a half-mile to the Gwinnett Place Mall, this Duluth mid-rise with a "convenient" location may not have "anything all that special" about it, but the rooms are newly renovated, with plush linens and free Internet, and the staff is "helpful"; now if they could just do something about breakfast, since some find paying around $10 for the buffet on offer "unreasonable."

When we got there they did not have two queens so we got a queen and pull out. The pull out was ok for my 6 yr old but the sheets were old and worn. Use our own blanket. Key stopped working twice. Loud talking at 4am in the morning - wake us up. ...read more

The hotel staff was very unconcerned with my need for two beds, and wake up call

The hotel room and grounds were well maintained and the rooms were spacious.
It was in an awkward location, off a parkway that made getting in and out difficult.

The hotel was very nice and clean. I like the setup of the Courtyard, in that the pool is secluded in the middle which offers extra protection for the kids. They do, however, need to get a free breakfast program. I was traveling with kids and it was 10 dollars each to eat the continental breakfast and significantly more for hot food. Not too good considering every hotel around us advertised free breakfast, including another Marriott hotel across I-85. ...read more
